What is wet pour surfacing?
Wet pour surfacing is a flexible two-course safety surface. The top layer of wet pour surfacing is known as the ‘wearing’ course, it consists of tough and durable EPDM rubber granules mixed with a polyurethane binder. These are clean cut granules which provide a well bonded surface with a durable and high tensile strength finish.
The Bottom layer, also referred to as the base course, comprises of granulated recycled rubber and polyurethane laid to varying depths dependent on the CFH (critical fall hight) of the individual Play equipment.
